What Aluminum We Accept:
We buy a wide variety of aluminum grades from residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Here is what you can bring us:
Used Beverage Cans (UBCs). Soda, beer, and other common circulation drink cans.
Aluminum Extrusions. Window frames, door frames, and structural components. (Must be free of glass and heavy sealants for top price).
Sheet Aluminum & Siding. Roof panels, gutters, downspouts, and unpainted sheet metal.
Cast Aluminum. Engine blocks, BBQ grill frames, patio furniture bases, and machinery parts.
Aluminum Rims. We accept wheels at all of our facilities, whether they are perfectly clean or "dirty."
Aluminum Radiators. Common byproducts of auto repairs and HVAC tear-downs.
Aluminum Wire. Bare, silver-colored electrical wire (often found in older homes and appliances).
Turnings & Borings. Leftover chips and shavings from machine shops.
What We Don't Accept (Downgrade):
To keep our processing safe and efficient, please be aware of the following restrictions and downgrades:
Tin Mixed with Cans. Tin food cans cannot be recycled with aluminum cans. Please use a magnet to separate these beforehand!
Pressurized Tanks. We cannot accept closed cylinders or pressurized tanks (like un-punctured aerosol cans or propane tanks) due to safety hazards.
"Dirty" Aluminum. If your aluminum has heavy attachments like steel screws, plastic, rubber, wood, or glass, it will be downgraded to "Dirty Aluminum" and yield a lower payout.
Radiators with Copper. If your radiator contains copper tubing (Alu/Cop radiators), it falls into a different grading category.
Pro-Tips for Maximum Payout
Want to get the top-tier price for your scrap? Follow these preparation steps before you hit the scale:
The Magnet Test. Aluminum is non-ferrous, meaning a magnet will not stick to it. Run a magnet over your scrap—if it sticks, it's steel or iron and belongs in a different pile!
Clean Your Rims. To get the best price, ensure the tire has been completely removed. You must also remove the lead wheel weights and the plastic or rubber valves.
Strip the Extras. Pull off steel bolts, plastic handles, and rubber gaskets from your cast and sheet aluminum to ensure you get the "Clean" price.
Prep Your Cans. Beverage cans must be completely empty, dry, and free of any liquids.
Note: If rims or other materials still have weights, valves, or non-metal attachments, they may be downgraded and yield a lower payout.
